Anycubic ASA Grey Filament for 3D Printer

Anycubic ASA Grey Filament is an engineering-grade FDM 3D printing material designed for strong, heat-resistant and weather-resistant parts. The grey color is ideal for technical models, housings, brackets, automotive components, outdoor parts, prototypes and functional prints where a clean professional look and long-term durability are important.

ASA offers high resistance to UV light, moisture, temperature changes and outdoor aging. Its properties are close to ABS, but ASA is better suited for outdoor applications, has improved color stability under sunlight and produces a lower odor during printing.

🧩 Best applications for Anycubic ASA Grey Filament

🔧 3D printer compatibility

Anycubic ASA Grey Filament is suitable for FDM 3D printers with 1.75 mm filament support, nozzle temperature up to 255 - 275 ℃ and heated bed temperature up to 80 - 100 ℃. For stable results, an enclosed chamber is recommended because ASA is sensitive to drafts and sudden temperature changes.

The material can be used with Anycubic Kobra, Bambu Lab, Creality, Prusa, Elegoo, Qidi, Flashforge, Artillery, Sovol, Raise3D, Snapmaker and other FDM 3D printers that support engineering filaments.

❓ FAQ

Is Anycubic ASA Grey Filament suitable for outdoor parts?

Yes. ASA is well suited for outdoor parts because it resists UV light, moisture and weather conditions.

Does ASA require an enclosed chamber?

Yes, an enclosed chamber is recommended. It helps maintain a stable temperature around the model and reduces the risk of warping.

How is ASA different from ABS?

ASA is similar to ABS in strength and heat resistance, but it is better for outdoor use because it has higher resistance to sunlight and weather.

Should ASA be dried before printing?

Yes. Drying at 70 - 80 ℃ for 8 - 12 hours is recommended.
